Free eye camp, Jhor-1(Supported by Taiwan Preventive Blindness foundation(TPB))

Along with local organizers Jhor Mahankal Youth Club and Aqua Health Centre, BM Foundation and us organised a free eye camp on Saturday, 15th of December, 2018. The eye camp was supported by Taiwan Preventive Blindness foundation(TPB).
The event was held at Public Boarding English School, Jhor, Tokha ward no. 1, which has the population of around 5 thousand people.
A team of 4 ophthalmic assistants from Kirtipur Eye Hospital and 4 dental hygiene students as volunteers from Kantipur Dental & General Hospital were dispatched for the eye camp.
Amongst the 88 people that were examined, 18 people were diagnosed with cataract.
