Helping Flood Victims-2014

Over the past decades, Nepal is becoming a disaster-prone. Floods, landslides, hailstorms and avalanche are among the major natural disasters that the country has been facing. Recently on Aug 2, 2014, a landslide occurred in Sindhupalchwok District, claiming 156 lives. The Department of Community & Public Health Dentistry, Kantipur Dental College in the initiative of Faculty Dr Saujanya Karki in collaboration with Nepalese Army Wives’ Association (NAWA) organized fund raising program during Aug 4-8, 2014, with an intent to provide relief, support and help the victims.
