Introduction :
The joint venture of Kantipur Dental College (by Dr Buddhi Man Shrestha) and Nasong, VDC organized a dental camp on 7th and 8th June 2018. There were plenty of health posts for general health for people of Nasong but they were deprived of dental treatment. They had to travel 4-5 hours ride to Lamjung, Besisahar for the treatment. So this program was hoped to be beneficial. With this motivation we set our journey to Nasong from 6th june to 9th june.

Geography of Dharapani (Nasong):
Dharapani is a village development committee in Manang district in the Gandaki Zone of northen Nepal. At the time of the 2001 Nepal census it had population of 1012 people lining in 232 individual households.
Travel Day 1 – All of us gathered at Kantipur Dental College at 6:30 am for the trip. We collected all our essentials and left college at 7 am. We reached Malekhu at 10 am for the breakfast and left for Besisahar. We reached Besisahar at around 2 pm and had our lunch. We changed our vechile from Besisahar and left for Dharapani, Manang. Ater 5 hours of bumpy travel we reached Dharapani, Manang at around 7:30 pm. We had our dinner at Crystal Hotel and slept as we were very tired.
Day 1:
We woke up at around 7 am, had our breakfast and meal. We left for camp at around 10 am. We conducted our camp from 11 am to 3 pm .

We went to attend cultural program organized by Aama Samaj. It was magnificient to watch and after the show we went to our hotel for dinner.
Day 2:
We woke at around 7 am. We had our breakfast and meal and then left for camp at around 10 am. We conducted camp from 10 am to 4 pm.
