On the occasion of world oral health day March 20, Kdc Hospital conducted school tooth brushing program and free oral health camp at shree Dhapasi Secondary school. It was a program dedicated to raise the awareness of the issues around oral health and importance of oral hygiene to achieve healthier mouth and happier lives. The team of 20 doctors was led by Dr Smita dhakal where a total of 200 students were examined and referred for the needful. On examination most children presented with problem of dental caries and gingivitis. Not many children had habit of regular brushing. All the students were provided with free toothbrushes and toothpaste. Tooth brushing technique was demonstrated and students were asked to brush accordingly. Students were provided with oral hygiene education . Various posters were distributed in classes that illustrated information on oral health. Active participation of students made the program successful.
