Dental Camp at Himalayan Secondary School
Dental Camp at Himalayan Secondary School, Newroad on Baishakh 20^th, 2075.

Society for awareness Nepal(SCAN), had organized dental camp at Himalayan Secondary School, Newroad on Baisakh 20^th, 2075, where team of Kantipur Dental College and Hospital participated.

Total of 115 students were orally screened,

7 ART(Atraumatic Restorative Treatment),

7 fluoride application was carried out.

Powerpoint presentation about oral hygiene, ART, Fluoride application, Sterlization was carried out as practical quota count by CDS student under supervision of Dr. Sristi Shah.

CDS students are then asked to submit report of camp along with printed photograph to the department within their posting days.

Interns carried out oral screening.

Tooth decay was found to be major finding and lack of regular brushing habit among children.

Team Meambers were:
- Sristi Shah
- Interns having community posting
- 6 CDS Students having community posting(day/evening shift)
Conclusion:

Overall the dental camp was success and the organizer team and school principal thanked KDCH for the selfless service in short notice.
