Representing Kantipur Dental College and Hospital (KDCH) and the Kantipur Institute of Health Sciences, a dedicated five-member professional team has commenced a prestigious one-month fellowship program on Oral Health Care for Special Needs and Management at the National Taiwan University Hospital, Taipei City, Taiwan.

This specialized international fellowship is designed to equip participants with advanced expertise in special needs dentistry, focusing on cutting-edge approaches to diagnosis, patient-centered management, and long-term care strategies. By engaging with distinguished global experts and training in a world-class clinical environment, the team will acquire invaluable knowledge and hands-on skills essential for addressing the complex oral health challenges faced by individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

Upon their return to Nepal, the fellowship graduates are expected to significantly enhance specialized dental services at KDCH, further strengthening the institution’s longstanding commitment to inclusive oral health care.
